Protect Your Skin. Protect Your Health.
At Midland Express Urgent and Family Care, we provide comprehensive skin cancer prevention, screening, and treatment services—because early detection can save lives.

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States—but it’s also one of the most preventable and treatable when caught early. At Midland Express Urgent and Family Care, our team is here to help you protect your skin and your overall health through regular screenings, early diagnosis, and effective treatment options.
Whether you’re noticing a new or changing mole, have a suspicious skin lesion, or simply want a preventive check-up, we offer personalized care in a comfortable, convenient setting. No referral needed.
What to Expect During Your Visit
Consultation & History
Your visit begins with a discussion of your personal and family history of skin cancer, your sun exposure habits, and any symptoms you may have noticed, such as new growths, bleeding spots, or moles that have changed in size, shape, or color.
Skin Examination
Our provider will perform a thorough head-to-toe skin check, looking for any abnormal moles, spots, or lesions. If something appears suspicious, we may perform a dermoscopic exam to examine it more closely.
Biopsy or Removal (if necessary)
If a suspicious lesion is found, we may perform a skin biopsy right here in the clinic—often the same day. The sample is sent to a lab for diagnosis. In some cases, small lesions can be completely removed on-site.
Follow-Up & Treatment Plan
If your biopsy comes back positive or pre-cancerous, we’ll work with you to create a personalized treatment plan. This may include cryotherapy (freezing), excision, topical medications, or referral for specialized dermatologic care if needed.
Our Services Help Prevent and Treat:
- Basal cell carcinoma (BCC)
- Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)
- Actinic keratosis (precancerous lesions)
- Suspicious moles and atypical nevi
- Sun damage and skin monitoring
We also educate patients on sun safety, UV protection, and self-examinations to reduce the risk of developing skin cancer in the future.
